Arrive Istanbul Airport then Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Istanbul

Istanbul

After Breakfast, Full Day Byzantine & Ottoman Relics Tour with Lunch. Overnight at Istanbul

Tour Details:- 

HIPPODROME, The center of  sport activities with its four monuments;  The GERMAN FOUNTAIN OF WILHELM II, Egyptian Obelisk,  SERPENTINE COLUMN and the COLUMN OF CONSTANTINE.

 

The BLUE MOSQUE The most famous mosque of Istanbul which is known as the BLUE MOSQUE as well because of its beautiful blue Iznik tiles. 

(Visit is not possible on Friday due to Friday Prayer) 

 

St. SOPHIA  This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great, in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time.

(St. Sophia closed on Monday, replaced with Underground  Cistern)

 

GRAND BAZAAR(COVERED MARKET) In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more than 4000 shops with each trade having its own area; the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brasware and trays, water ewers, onyxware and meerschaum pipers. (Grand Bazaar closed on Sunday)

 

LUNCH (Drinks are extra)

 

SULTANS’  TOMBS  there are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at St. Sophia. The ceramic panels are the most beautiful examples of the 16th century with purple, green, blue, and red flower motives. Prince robes and a small piece from the Kaaba covers are displayed on the sarcophaguses. (Sultans Tombs closed on Monday, replaced with Little Hagia Sophia Mosque) 

TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries, housing an exquisite collection of precious gems, jewellery thrones of sultans, costumes worn by the sultans and their families; miniatures, the Holy Mantle; CHABER OF SACRED RELICS.

(Harem is not included in the program and visit is due to extra entrance fee.)

Day 4

After Breakfast, Full Day Bursa Cable Car & Uludag Mountain Tour with Lunch. 

In the morning we take our guests from Bursa and start the tour. We are starting our tour with Green Mosque. Green Mosque is a historical chapel which is one of the most striking examples of the first period Ottoman architecture in Bursa. The fame of the mosque comes from the glazed tiles. The mosque is in the Green neighborhood which has given its name to the mosque..Green shrine; Is the only Ottoman shrine whose all walls are thick with glazed tiles. The walls of the shrine and the marble frame and the sections between the arches are all covered with turquoise colored tiles. After seeing Green Mosque and the shrine, we visit Green Market and then head for the Lift. If the weather conditions are favorable, we travel to Uluda? Mountain by Lift in which you can observe the panoramic view of Bursa. You can ski on the slopes of Uluda? during your free time here and drive around on the paths around the mountain with a snow motorcycle or you can go up to the summit by chairlifts and enjoy the view while drinking your tea or coffee. After Breakfast, Half Day Bosphrorus Cruise Tour.  CITY WALLS The first breach of the walls was by the Fourth Crusade in 1204, the second by the cannons and troops of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453.

 

DRIVE BY BUS TO GOLDEN HORN As a natural and extremely secure harbor, the Golden Horn has played an important role in the development of Istanbul. The inlet separates the European shore into two. It is approximately 8 km long, and the widest part is the entrance from the Bosphorus. Two streams drain into this inlet at its far end.

 

SPICE BAZAAR (EGYPTIAN BAZAAR) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice.

 

BOAT TRIP ON THE BOSPHORUS An amazing cruise between the two continents, EUROPE and ASIA, along the Bosphorus by the Dolmabahçe and Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden villas and mansions up to the Rumeli Fortress.

 

THE RUMELI FORTRESS (FROM THE SEA - NO INTERIOR VISIT)

?stanbul had been besieged many times before Mehmet the Conqueror took the city in 1453 but it managed to defend itself with the help of the Roman city walls.
