Day 1
28.11 - Day 1: Arrival – Tbilisi
  • 23:25 - Arrival to Tbilisi, meet and greet at the airport, flight G9295
  • Transfer to hotel, check in the hotel
  • Overnight in Tbilisi
Day 2
29.11 - Day 2: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Tbilisi
  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • 10:00 starting the tour
  • Departure to Caucasus region
  • Drive to Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. Complex featuring churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries is beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir.
  • Drive further to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for keeping different colors even after they merge. After a short stop at Soviet time “People’s Friendship” mountain view point, at about 12:30 you will reach Gudauri, the mountain ski resort on southern slopes of the Caucasus Mountains at the height of 2000 m above sea level.
  • Place offers a cable car; where you will enjoy the views of the skiing slopes and snowy mountains.
  • The place offers sleds rental and professional instructor services.
  • Return back to Tbilisi around evening time
  • Tour will be finished around 18:00
  • Overnight in Tbilisi
Day 3
30.11 - Day 3: Tbilisi – City tour – Yerevan
  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Morning check out from the hotel
  • 09:00 - It is time to explore Tbilisi city tour, visiting main attractions of the city:
  • Holy Trinity Church – the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church located in Tbilisi. Constructed between 1995 and 2004, it is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world and one of the largest religious buildings in the world by total area. Sameba is a synthesis of traditional styles dominating the Georgian church architecture at various stages in history and has some Byzantine undertones.
  • Metekhi plateau with the view on Old Town. Virgin Mary Metekhi church is located on the left bank of the river Mtkvari, on the cliff plateau, the first church on this place was probably built by Vakhtang Gorgasali symbolically resembling the church built on virgin Mary’s tomb in Gethsemane garden in Jerusalem.
  • Rike park and Bridge of Peace (The glass bridge). It is a pedestrian glass and steel bridge in a bow-shaped design that sits over the Mtkvari (Kura) river in Georgian capital. It was officially opened in May 2010. The bridge was brought to Georgia from Italy in 200 unassembled components. The bridge is 156 meters long and has more than 10 000 LED bulbs built-in, that are switched on daily 90 minutes before the sunset.
  • Narikala Fortress – the main landmark of Tbilisi, ancient fort defending city and opening breathtaking views of the capital. Also called the Mother Fortress of Tbilisi, Narikala is an ancient symbol of Tbilisi’s defence. The fortress was established in the 4th century, around the period when the city itself was founded.
  • Abanotubani (baths district) – the oldest district of the capital where it’s history starts from. Located at the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River at the foot of Narikala fort across Metekhisubani.
  • Leghvtakhevi waterfall – beautiful nature wonder in the heart of old city.
  • Transfer to Georgia-Armenia border Sadakhlo
  • Around 3 pm we will cross the Armenia border where Armenian guide will meet you and start introducing his country
  • Transfer to Yerevan
  • Overnight in Yerevan
Day 4
01.12 - Day 4: Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor – Sevan Lake – Yerevan
  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Today we will visit Lake Sevan – the emerald of Armenia, a beauty under the sky. Lake Sevan is considered to be one of the largest sweet water lakes in the world, situated at an altitude of 1,897 meters above sea level. Sevan, with its pure air and sandy beaches, is a popular holiday resort.
  • Then we will continue our trip to Tsaghkadzor. Tsaghkadzor is a spa town and a popular health resort in Armenia, located north of the capital city of Yerevan in the Koytak Province. Then will seat ropeway and admire the beauty of Armenia from the ropeway.
  • Ride the cable car to Tsaghkadzor, enjoy lunch (own expense) at the mountaintop Kecharis Monastery, admire views of Lake Sevan, and visit the Sevanavank monastery.
  • Return back to Yerevan
Day 5
02.12 - Day 5: Yerevan – City tour – Departure
  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Check out from the hotel
  • Yerevan City Tour, visiting below sightseeing places:
  • Erebuni Fortress, The statue of David of Sasun, Yerevan City Council, Mashtots Avenue, Opera House, Saryan Park, Baghramyan Avenue, Mother Armenia monument.
  • Evening transfer to the airport, flight G9243
  • Return economy class airfare on Air Arabia
  • 20kg baggage and 10kg hand luggage
  • 2 nights’ accommodation in the hotel including breakfast in Tbilisi at Metekhi Line Hotel or similar 4*
