Istanbul

Arrive Istanbul Airport then Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Istanbul

 

Day 2
Istanbul

After Breakfast, Full Day Byzantine & Ottoman Relics Tour with Lunch. Overnight at Istanbul

Tour Details:- 

HIPPODROME, The center of  sport activities with its four monuments;  The GERMAN FOUNTAIN OF WILHELM II, Egyptian Obelisk,  SERPENTINE COLUMN and the COLUMN OF CONSTANTINE.

 

The BLUE MOSQUE The most famous mosque of Istanbul which is known as the BLUE MOSQUE as well because of its beautiful blue Iznik tiles. 

(Visit is not possible on Friday due to Friday Prayer) 

 

St. SOPHIA  This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great, in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time.

(St. Sophia closed on Monday, replaced with Underground  Cistern)

 

GRAND BAZAAR(COVERED MARKET) In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more than 4000 shops with each trade having its own area; the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brasware and trays, water ewers, onyxware and meerschaum pipers. (Grand Bazaar closed on Sunday)

SULTANS’  TOMBS  there are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at St. Sophia. The ceramic panels are the most beautiful examples of the 16th century with purple, green, blue, and red flower motives. Prince robes and a small piece from the Kaaba covers are displayed on the sarcophaguses. (Sultans Tombs closed on Monday, replaced with Little Hagia Sophia Mosque) 

TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries, housing an exquisite collection of precious gems, jewellery thrones of sultans, costumes worn by the sultans and their families; miniatures, the Holy Mantle; CHABER OF SACRED RELICS.

(Harem is not included in the program and visit is due to extra entrance fee.)

Day 3

After Breakfast, Half Day Bosphrorus Cruise Tour.  CITY WALLS The first breach of the walls was by the Fourth Crusade in 1204, the second by the cannons and troops of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453.

 

DRIVE BY BUS TO GOLDEN HORN As a natural and extremely secure harbor, the Golden Horn has played an important role in the development of Istanbul. The inlet separates the European shore into two. It is approximately 8 km long, and the widest part is the entrance from the Bosphorus. Two streams drain into this inlet at its far end.

 

SPICE BAZAAR (EGYPTIAN BAZAAR) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice.

 

BOAT TRIP ON THE BOSPHORUS An amazing cruise between the two continents, EUROPE and ASIA, along the Bosphorus by the Dolmabahçe and Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden villas and mansions up to the Rumeli Fortress.

 

THE RUMELI FORTRESS (FROM THE SEA - NO INTERIOR VISIT)

?stanbul had been besieged many times before Mehmet the Conqueror took the city in 1453 but it managed to defend itself with the help of the Roman city walls.

Day 4
Istanbul

After Breakfast, After Breakfast, Full Day Antalya City Tour with Lunch

A tour of this stunning coastal city where history has been kept safe while the city grew, today you will visit the safe havens for history to come to life. During your time you will have a chance to shop and buy souvenirs. You will head out to the Lara beach where you will stop at the highest cliff complete with a beautiful waterfall. The archaeological museum ends your tour with a fascinating look into the history that has been unearthed in the region.

The highlights on this tour include a visit to Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock Tower at Kalekapisi, Republic Square and with its dramatic statue and excellent views of the Mediterranean Coast and the distant Olympos Mountains. Descending from the square, we will explore the narrow, winding streets of historic Old Antalya (Kaleiçi), filled with graceful Ottoman era houses and gardens.

1 hour panoramic boat tour and lunch at a restaurant.

Our next stop is the Duden II Waterfall that is at the highest cliff of Lara Beach.

The day will finish  with Konyaalt? Tunektepe cablecar ride.

The tour concludes with shopping break for those who would like to purchase local goods and souvenirs.

Day 5
Istanbul

After Breakfast, Full Day Pamukkale Tour with Lunch. First destination is Karahayit to see Red Spring Water. We will drive to Pamukkale and visit Hierapolis after Karahayit. The highlights of Hierapolis are Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Antique Pool. Later we will take some photos from the nicest corners of Pamukkale. Free time for about 60 minutes to explore the natural beauties of Pamukkale. Then meet with the guide, start walking in the middle of travertines from up to down without shoes and socks. We will have lunch in a local restaurant. 

16:00 drive back to your hotel.
