What is the timing of a Desert Safari in Dubai?
The desert safari starts around 4:30 pm and ends around 11pm in the night. This is more than 6 hours of travel and adventure so you have to be prepared for it both mentally and physically. During this trip you will experience different kinds of activities which can be tiring.

What kind of vehicles will be used during the desert safari in Dubai?
All desert safari tours use 4X4 wheel drive SUVs. Sedans and other cars are not used during this trip.

Where is the pickup point in Dubai?
City One Tours vehicles will pick you up from any point within Dubai. You will have to provide the address for the pickup and be at the designated spot at the said time to avoid any inconvenience. After the trip, you will be dropped off at the same point.

What is included in the desert safari?
All desert safari tours in Dubai include the following services:

• Pick up and drop off.
• Sand Dune Bashing.
• Camel ride.
• Arabic tea or coffee with dates.
• Arabic sweets and fresh fruits.
• Sheesha session.
• Belly dance and Tanoora show.
• Arabic costumes for photographs.
• Live BBQ dinner and continental buffet.

Alcoholic drinks are not included in the services and are charged separately.

How many people can accompany me on the desert safari tour?
You can bring as many people as you want. City One Tours has a large fleet of 4X4 vehicles and each vehicle can accompany 6 people including the driver. We have the capability of operating large tours and if needed, we will arrange for extra vehicles. Please note that the size of the group does not affect your adventure and quality of the tour. We encourage people to travel in group as then you can enjoy more.

Will there be any photographic equipment provided in the tour?
Unfortunately we do not provide any photographic equipment during the tour.

Can you arrange vegetarian dinners?
Any special requests such as this must be confirmed at the time of booking so that it is properly taken care off.

What kind of clothing should I wear?
Desert has a harsh climate. During summers you can wear any type of light clothing. Pants, shorts and T-shirts are recommended clothing for summer. Wear comfortable sandals instead of shoes so that the sand doesn’t bother you. Sun glasses are also recommended. Avoid wearing any type of jewelry and carry least amount of personal belongings. During winters wear comfortable and warm clothing because the desert climate gets cold during the night.

Are there any health hazards during this tour?
Anyone can take a desert safari tour. But the ride is quite a bumpy one and may be uncomfortable for some people with backbone conditions. If you have a serious medical condition, inform the management at the time of booking so necessary steps are taken to assure your safety. The desert climate can sometimes be extremely hot and dry so it is recommended to drink lots of water during your desert safari tour in Dubai.

Are there any other activities that we can request?
Yes you can opt for sand surfing, dune buggy ride, quad biking, sheesha outside the campsite and pictures with falcons are not included in the price and will be provided on request. Bar counter is also not included in the price.
